Community Announcements
The Picnic on July 10, 2010 is going to be held at the 3199 Gapland Rd, Rohrersville, MD 21779Pleasant Valley Park in Gapland, MD. The park is located just off Route 67 and is visible from the highway.
Arrival time is 4:00 PM. We will be eating at 5:00 PM.
The pavilion is visible from the highway. There is parking for unloading and the ample parking lot is a short walk away.
The WV Emmaus Board of Director's will supply Fried Chicken, Drinks, Paper Products and Ice.
This is a covered dish event and you are requested to bring a dish as follows. If your last name begins with the letters: A - J.... Bring a Main Dish or Casserole
K - R.... Bring a Vegetable or Salad Dish
S - Z..... Bring a Dessert
Your family is invited to attend the picnic. Bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets and come enjoy fellowship with your Emmaus Family and Friends in the shadows of the beautiful mountains of Maryland.
All team applications are discarded on September 1st of each year. If you want to be considered for team, please submit a new application after September 1st.
For those interested in adding themselves to the national bone marrow registry . . . with thanks from the Seffers family, and for their brother-in-law Tom Hall.

SPECIAL GATHERING NOTES:
After consideration of several factors, the decision has been made
that childcare will no longer be provided during gatherings. We sincerely
apologize for any inconveniences this may cause and do still encourage
families to bring their children to the gatherings.
Gatherings are scheduled for the second Saturday of each month and
Board Meetings (open to all) are held on the third Tuesday. If circumstances
such as bad weather may warrant a change or cancellation, a decision
shall be made by 3:00 pm the same day. Notice will be posted on the
web site ASAP.
TEAM MANUAL and TALK OUTLINE AMNESTY PROGRAM:
Do you have an old team manual or talk outline from one of your past
teams? If so, please take the opportunity unburden yourself and return
them at the next gathering. No questions will be asked. :)
BANNERS...BANNERS...BANNERS
Individuals and/or groups are invited and encouraged to make new banners
for the talk room. We are looking for banners that reflect the 15
talks - starting with the Grace talks. What a great opportunity for
fellowship and creativity. What a great opportunity to re-reflect
on those talks! If you would like to create a banner... GO FOR IT!!

TEAM APPLICATIONS
If you desire to TEAM on a WV Emmaus weekend in 2010, you will need to have submitted a NEW application after Sept 30, 2009.
However, to serve on a team you must have attended a 4th day workshop
APPLICATIONS.
Don't forget a $50.00 Deposit is due at the 1st
Team Meeting.
